Whenever the Violinist and Chocoholic are around, magic happens.
You’re never quite sure when it’s going to hit, but one minute you’re losing to them at Boggle on the iPhone and the next minute every piece of clothing you own is dumped on your bed and the wardrobes are getting the cleaning of a lifetime.
And in fact, you find that your usually armchair-bound husband is being asked to take his jumper off and get to work and all manner of radical requests.
Many forgotten things are emerging from under your bed, and in the passion of the moment you run to the kitchen to make peanut butter oatmeal chocolate chip cookies for no good reason.
Suddenly, big decisions are being made about rearranging your bedroom, and you find yourself gesticulating wildly, voice rising in pitch at the possibilities boundless.
And then, even more suddenly, you see your usually circumspect husband is eagerly disappearing under the bed to fix something you are sure he does not know how to fix.
Before you know it everyone has caught on in the excitement and is trying to disappear under the bed.
The dressers are turned upside and the most horrendous mould is discovered and dealt with severely.
Your usually philosophical husband is making poorly argued points and excitedly shoving bits of furniture into your hand as he attacks the mouldy units. You smile beatifically, or so you think and hope.
We are all buzzing in the magic these two bring, and we love every minute of it.
Do you have those people in your life who make good things happen?
