A day at the market

During my lunch break today, I decided to take a walk in the already dying rays of sunshine. I only got about 60 paces into it before bumping into the Thursday Flea Market in Oxford’s Gloucester Green.

People really sell the most amazing junk.

Ahem. No offense intended, but probably taken.

For example:

Classy.

But the best find of all, was this beauty. Any guesses?

Why, it’s an old-fashioned chamber pot of course! The precursor to our modern toilet.

The real question is: who wants that in their house, and perhaps more gravely: for what purpose?

All in a day’s lunch break!
